It is an X-Direction vibration motor. The springs on both sides drive the vibration block in the middle, and the pulse current drives the mass block to reciprocate left and right to create a precise vibration feedback effect.

This kind fo LRA should be driven by IC chip (such as TI's DRV26XX series) which is same as Z-axis miniature vibration motor. The first-generation technology only provides vibration, and the feedback is not accurate enough and rough. It only provides a vibration reminder function.

The second generation is an upgrade of coin vibration motor. It is upgraded to linear vibration on the basis of ordinary ERM flat vibration motor, with longer life span, shorter start-stop time, and Z-axis vibration more realistic simulation button function.
